Background

Premier Orthopedics is one of the largest musculoskeletal practices in Pennsylvania, operating more than 35 locations across the Greater Philadelphia region with over 200 care providers. Following consolidation between two major physician groups, the organization faced fragmented on-premise infrastructure, disparate security environments and inconsistent communication systems. Multiple legacy platforms limited collaboration, reduced visibility into performance and created unnecessary cost and risk exposure.

At the same time, Premier entered a strategic partnership with Hopper to build one of the largest integrated value-based MSK platforms in the United States. To succeed, leadership needed a modern, unified operating foundation capable of supporting growth, analytics and payer alignment.

Approach

A full practice modernization strategy was built and deployed on hopper OS. On-premise infrastructure was migrated into a secure, single Microsoft cloud tenant - consolidating phone systems, security environments and Azure services into one standardized ecosystem. Legacy systems were retired, vendor sprawl reduced and cybersecurity posture strengthened.

Through hopper Insights, Premier gained consolidated performance analytics across clinical, operational and financial domains. This enabled leadership to move from from reactive reporting to precise, predictive decision-making.
